“NGenTec Limited commissioned a piece of consultancy work from MOTOR ENGINEER to look at the electromagnetic performance of a novel permanent magnet synchronous generator for wind turbines.


MOTOR ENGINEER used their expertise to verify NGenTec’s calculations and investigate further design iterations. This work included working closely with a thermal analyst and producing models that could be driven parametrically from NGenTec’s design tool. The result of the project has meant that NGenTec can move on with developing their product with greater insight and confidence.
